Mission Statement

The MLK Avenue Redevelopment Corporation’s mission is to create within the MLK community an environment conducive for community and economic redevelopment and the perpetual quality management and preservation of the community’s most valuable assets that include its residents, businesses, and property.

This will be accomplished through the following four (4) goals:

Goal 1: Create a distinct and attractive visual identity for the MLK Avenue Community

Goal 2: Restore the community’s business and residential capacity

Goal 3: Strengthen the cohesive functioning of the MLK Avenue Community

Goal 4: Encourage public/private participation and support in the revitalization process
