History

The MLK Avenue Redevelopment Corporation was established in 1993 as a not-for-profit entity with its primary goal of creating a new spirit and pride in the MLK Avenue Community by making it a viable place to live, work, play, and prosper. Since its inception, the MLKARC has developed and implemented several programs that have resulted in notable improvements to the community. The vision for the revitalized MLK community will be realized through improvements and access to affordable housing, community and economic redevelopment activities, and developing a trusted relationship with the MLK Avenue Community residents.
